Great rally of Munté sisters in 29er today. Leaders at one day to finish the Regatta.

Aleix Subirà reinforce the first position and will win the absolute Catalonia Championship in Europe Class.

The Polish Júlia Szmit & Hanna Dizk still on the top of the 420 Class.

Blanes, January, 4th, 2015.- Stunning Racing day at the International Grand Prix Vila de Blanes 2015. As usual on this days, a nice sunny day and the thermal Tordera river wind made possible that all classes sailed all the races programed. The Race Committee sent again all fleets to the water with the daybreak and started at 09:00.

Very important day for Carla and Marta Munté sisters. They manged to reach the first position in 29er, three points ahead of the Swedish crew A. Salamon & F. Bergman, leaders until today of the Regatta. Good day also for the local Aleix Subirà, CV Blanes, reaching a strong first place in the Grand prix Vila de Blanes and will win the also the Catalonia Europe Class Championship. In 420, the Polish Júlia Szmit & Hanna Dizk, keep the leadership.

Europe

The local sailor Aleix Subirà consolidate his first position in the general scoring after sailing eight races. He will win also the Catalonian championship. His closest competitors are the German Hude Seglervereinigung with 24 points, Sergi López (CN Estartit), Rafael Rabasa (CN El Balís) and Laura Oliva (CM Torredembarra).

29er, Carla Munté and Marta Munté on the top.

After another four races completed today in the 29er area, with a total of 11 races, the Munté sisters are in a very strong first position with a total of 20 points. It was not a so good day for the Swedish crew A. Salamon and F. Bergman that are in second position with 23 points. The next position is for the CN Garraf crew N.Mas & F.Núñez with 25 points.

420, Polish girls are leading

Good day for the Polish Julia Szmi & Hanna Dizk which are on the top with 26 points. Tomorrow will be a clue day for tue three crews behind them. The German crew Konstantin Steidle & Tom Lembcke (30 points), Marta Torner & Enrique Mir (33 points) Lucas Casané & Pau Chicharro form CV Blanes (34 points) will fight for reach a place in the podium.

Tomorrow will be the last day of the International Grand Prix Vila de Blanes 2015.
